The House System – Building Unity Through Healthy Competition

At Basanta Sadan, we believe in learning through teamwork, leadership, and friendly rivalry. That’s why our House System plays a vital role in developing school spirit and student character.

🏠 What Is the House System?

Every student is assigned to one of our nine houses:
🔹 Blue
🟢 Green
🟠 Orange
💗 Pink
🟣 Purple
🔴 Red
🔵 Sky Blue
⚪ White
🟡 Yellow

Each house becomes a second family — where students from different grades come together to support, compete, and grow.

🎉 Why It Matters

The house system teaches:

  • Teamwork – Winning is collective, not individual
  • Leadership – House captains and coordinators take charge
  • Responsibility – Everyone contributes to their house’s success
  • Discipline and sportsmanship – Competing with respect

🏆 Weekly Activities & Points

Every Friday, we conduct activities like:

  • Quiz contests
  • Spelling bee
  • Dance and speech competitions
  • Art, poetry, and debates

Houses earn points based on performance, encouraging consistent participation and improvement.

At the end of the year, the House Champion Trophy is awarded to the highest-ranking team!

🌟 One School, Many Colors, One Spirit

The House System is more than competition — it’s a journey of friendship, learning, and leadership.
